This shoe box is characterized by clean purposeful design on the inside and minimalistic graphic design on the outside. This prototype was envisaged in opposition to a “burial casket”in which shoes are put to “rest” when not in use, being inspired by the idea of creating a “castle” in which shoes can live.
The shoe can be accessed from both ends of the box. On opening, the box takes the shape of two independent triangular storage segments. Each shoe is thus stored separated from the other and therefore better protected from damage.
Full product information is provided in the product brochure located in the central cardboard panel that separates the two halves of the box, which can be accessed by opening the upper and lower lid.
The brochure in the central panel can also be used for other commercial and advertising purposes. The materials used are recycled cardboard in combination with fresh, vibrantly coloured papers.
